I have several different social network accounts; they are Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook . FACEBOOK. While recently searching for my self i have only found my Facebook page and goodreads page. GOODREADS. I don't have anything to negative on my page. The only negative things on my page are curse words (maybe) and a drug related drawing. Other than those things you wont find anything else inappropriate. I can totally agree with coaches and recruits checking on players social media accounts. It can give the coach or recruiter a basic understanding of what the player is like, what his or her personal interest are. Employers who pre-screen their employes through social media websites is good idea as well. If someone were posting illegal and inappropriate things through social media i wouldn't want them to work for me either. Their thoughts and actions can create a bad reputation for my business and customers. I can relate with the article "This Is How A Woman’s Offensive Tweet Became The World’s Top Story". There have been numerous times i have cussed uo a storm on twitter and misrepresented myself. My mom did eventually find out and told everything I do on social can be seen and traced.
The story Dating Your Mom, wasn't very humorous to me. I believe there was to much incest and crude humor. The story was satirical but not to the point of having me laughing my butt off. When Ian Frazier talked about the dad dating his own mother he described possible situations. Ian also wrote about the life of a man normally does ( or what society thinks man normally does). Ian was inferring that most men work, lift weights, watch football, and drink beers. In America that is the common perception of what a man does in his daily life. I believe the story was an entire understatement of a author just telling someone how to love and care for their mother. With today's young generation a lot of kids don't respect nor care for their mother and Ian Frazier just wanted to just get a point across by being satirical. I believe the magical realism used in both LWFC and Old man is great. But if I were to choose between the two, LWFC would be my choice. The magical realism used is more understandable and comprehensible. Old Man and LWFC's diction differ greatly. Sentences in Old Man are longer and more detailed to a certain degree. I do find that both authors use a great amount of sensory details creating vivid images for their readers. I believe that LWFC's details are written with informal dialect and Old Man's details are written in formal language. Each stories diction is concrete and concise and neither authors use abstract words.
Esquivel's use of imagery details inLWFC were truly displayed when she told the stories of the chickens and hens fighting spraying blood over Tita and the diapers. Gabriel's use of imagery details were displayed when he described the old feathered man in the chicken coupe. The details of each story are great and help to actually visualize what the characters look like and what they are doing. I beileve the lesson in LWFC is conveyed more clearly and concise thant the lesson in Old man. If you think about it Old Man is just a spectacle and LWFC is a story that could actually happen Apple Cider Vinegar
your so disgusting. You have a putrid smell to you. If i were to taste you i know you would be bitter. You have the color and sight of sallow piss. When i rub the liquid across my hand if fells as smooth as a baby's bottom. When i shake the cup around you swoosh like the water in a washer machine. Your smell could even scare of the dangerous of animals such as a shark, or tiger. Your smell wafts in a room as flatulence wafts in a bathroom as people use it. |
